the message

"When the music fades, all is strip away..."the song by Matt Redman came about when his senior pastor decided not to have music played or songs sung for a season so that his people will not equate worship with music because worship is a matter of the heart.

John 4:24 says..."God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth."

When it comes to youth music, we rock it up, we scream and shout, we jump and we get all pumped up not only to the music but to the songs that brings glory to God and it is all wonderful. But young ppl, please realize that it is not just the "ra ra ra". We can get so emotionally charged up that we miss out the real thing-"the anointing" We can mistake the presence of God for the music, songs or a nice atmosphere. The presence of God is the presence of God. He can be experienced with or without the ra ra ra.

This year at HUGE, we at YAM believes that God will unleash His power and anointing on you. Something so tangible and strong, that you will be completely transformed. Remember when you were alone at home or in schoole or overseas for studies, there was no band, no music, no preacher, but just you and God. You need to know how to lock into God by yourself. What carries you through hard times is your relationship with God. No one can take away from you.

We are excited, in anticipation and with great expectation at what God will do in this camp. YAM welcomes you to HUGE 2004, go ahead and get crazy for God, sing, shout and jump and praise Him. Remember the anointing will linger on after HUGE...
